Its a lazy sunday afternoon where the evening light just hits all the right spots that make it glow, the windows are open and the curtains sway in tandem with the soft breeze. Its warm outside and the kids are winding down, they head over to the grandparents house for the evening and you have the house all to yourself! What are you going to do? Call your bff over right away of course ! What to do? Well, that my friend I have got covered. Sundays are for nostalgic movies I say- you know the ones. The ones with the best lighting, actors that feel like your friends and scenery that makes you want to go shopping for that vintage table and that gingham apron to recreate the “vibe”. I introduce to you my #1 favorite summer movie: Fried Green Tomatoes. If you have seen it you know what I mean and if you haven’t? Well, you are in for a treat. This is a movie to see with your girlfriends, I just adore everything about this movie from the set to the clothes. Before you sit down don’t forget to grab my recipe for what I call “Towanda Sparkling Peach Smash” and make the famous fried green tomatoes from the Whistle Stop Cafe Cookbook. I have also included my roundups for my favorite goods inspired by the movie so you can recreate these vibes in your home. Now, you have to tell me your favorite scene from the movie. Mine is the the pie fight scene.
